The accreditation process is part of external quality assurance conducted to maintain the quality of services and outcomes of a process\u2014in this case, the academic process, which includes student admission and registration, lectures, exams, academic advising, measuring the satisfaction of the university community and stakeholders, and student graduation. The entire process is reviewed by assessors and evaluated through assessment. Based on the evaluation results, it is determined whether a study program still meets the criteria to retain its current accreditation status or is eligible for a higher ranking. It is hoped that accreditation will improve the quality of the study program, particularly in academic services, so that it can produce high-quality graduates with the expected competencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March and April, UNNES, through its Quality Assurance Office, had a hectic schedule in support of the accreditation process. Nine study programs conducted visits or on-site accreditation assessments, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The Bachelor\u2019s Program in Civic Education<\/strong>, administered by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, currently holds an \u201cA\u201d accreditation status and is working toward achieving an \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation rating. The on-site assessment will be conducted on April 22\u201323, 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The Bachelor\u2019s Program in Geography Education<\/strong>, administered by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, currently holds an \u201cA\u201d accreditation status and is striving to achieve an \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation rating. The on-site assessment will be conducted on April 29\u201330, 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The Master\u2019s Program in Mathematics Education<\/strong>, administered by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, currently holds a B accreditation status and is striving to achieve a \u201cVery Good\u201d or \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation rating.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. The Master\u2019s Program in Science Education<\/strong>, administered by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, currently holds an A accreditation status and is striving to achieve an \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation rating. The on-site assessment will take place on April 16\u201317, 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. The Bachelor\u2019s Program in Physical Education, Health, and Recreation<\/strong>, administered by the Faculty of Sports Sciences, currently holds an \u201cA\u201d accreditation status and is aiming to achieve an \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation rating. The on-site assessment will take place on April 21\u201322, 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. The Master\u2019s Program in Management<\/strong>, administered by the Faculty of Economics and Business, currently holds a \u201cGood\u201d accreditation status and is striving to achieve a \u201cVery Good\u201d or \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation rating. This is the program\u2019s first regular accreditation process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. The Doctoral Program in Economics Education<\/strong>, administered by the Faculty of Economics and Business, currently holds a \u201cVery Good\u201d accreditation status and is striving to achieve an \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation rating. This is the program\u2019s first regular accreditation process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. The Bachelor\u2019s Program in Nutrition<\/strong>, administered by the Faculty of Medicine, currently holds a \u201cB\u201d accreditation status and is working toward achieving a \u201cVery Good\u201d or \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation rating. The on-site assessment will be conducted on March 3\u20135, 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. The Bachelor of Medicine and Professional Medical Education programs,<\/strong> administered by the Faculty of Medicine, currently hold a \u201cGood\u201d accreditation status and are working toward achieving a \u201cVery Good\u201d or \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation rating. This is their first regular accreditation process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    These nine study programs have varying accreditation statuses. Study programs that already hold \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation are expected to maintain the quality of their services, while those with \u201cA\u201d accreditation are expected to improve in order to achieve \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation. Likewise, study programs that still hold \u201cB\u201d accreditation are expected to strive to achieve \u201cVery Good\u201d or \u201cExcellent\u201d status. This requires strong support and cooperation among all stakeholders, both at the central management level and at the program study management level. The Quality Assurance Office continuously monitors and provides guidance to both programs that have already achieved \u201cExcellent\u201d status and those that have not. Especially for new programs currently in the process of applying for minimum accreditation and\/or their first regular accreditation, the Quality Assurance Office oversees the process until accreditation results are obtained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
