Opening new program study process

 

  1. Submission of a new Study Program begins with the preparation of a new Study Program proposal by a taskforce appointed by the Faculty.
  2. Proposals that are ready can be sent to the Chancellor in hardcopy and upload the complete documents on this link.
  3. Furthermore, the Chancellor disposes of the proposal to the Quality Assurance Agency (BPM) to review the feasibility of the proposal.
  4. The reviewer team has full rights to decide the feasibility of opening a new Study Program without intervention from any party.
  5. If the proposal is declared inadequate by the BPM, then the task force team has the opportunity to revise the proposal both in terms of the substance of the proposal and the completeness of the document requirements.
  6. If the proposal is declared feasible, the BPM submits the results of the review to the Chancellor and then the Chancellor forwards it to the SAU and MWA.
  7. If the proposal is declared inadequate by the SAU and MWA, the task force team has the opportunity to revise the proposal both in terms of the substance of the proposal and the completeness of the document requirements.
  8. If the proposal is declared feasible, SAU and MWA will issue a letter of approval for the opening of a new Study Program.
  9. The Chancellor wrote to the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) to submit an application for a minimum accreditation recommendation.
  10. BAN-PT will issue a recommendation for opening a new Study Program if it has been declared eligible and meets the minimum standard requirements for opening a new Study Program.
  11. When declared eligible, the Chancellor issues a Study Program permit decree and then writes a letter to the Director of Institutional Directorate General of Higher Education with a copy to the Head of Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology for the purpose of coding Prodi at PDDIKTI.
