Semarang, 28 January 2026 — The Undergraduate Program of Art Education, Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), conducted an on-site accreditation assessment by the Indonesian Independent Accreditation Institute for Education (LAMDIK) on 28–29 January 2026. This activity is part of the accreditation process aimed at ensuring and continuously improving the quality of higher education.
The on-site assessment was carried out in an offline (face-to-face) mode at UNNES and officially opened with an opening session attended by university leaders, faculty management, the program management team, and relevant stakeholders. In the opening remarks, UNNES leadership reaffirmed the institution’s strong commitment to supporting continuous improvement in academic quality and governance at the program level.
The LAMDIK assessment team consisted of Prof. Dr. Drs. Djuli Djatipramudi, M.Sn. from Universitas Negeri Surabaya as Assessor 1 and Dr. Irfan, S.Pd., M.Ds. from Universitas Negeri Makassar as Assessor 2. The assessors conducted verification and clarification of various aspects of program implementation, including governance, human resources, curriculum, learning processes, research, community service, facilities and infrastructure, as well as outcomes and achievements of the tridharma of higher education.
Throughout the two-day assessment, a series of activities were conducted, including presentations on the program profile, discussions and interviews with faculty and program leaders, lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and graduate users. In addition, the assessors carried out direct observations of learning facilities and supporting infrastructure owned by the Undergraduate Program of Art Education.
Through the implementation of this on-site assessment, the Undergraduate Program of Art Education, FBS UNNES, expects to receive constructive feedback from the assessors as a basis for strengthening academic quality and enhancing the program’s competitiveness at the national level. This activity also serves as an important moment for reflection for the entire academic community to continuously innovate and remain committed to delivering high-quality art education that is responsive to the demands of the times.
