Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Chemical Engineering Student Association held the 11th Mangrove Replant activity at Mangunharjo Beach, Semarang City, Saturday (18\/5\/2024). Not only mangrove trees, participants were also given knowledge about how to plant and care for them properly and correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Dean of the Unnes Engineering Faculty, Wirawan Sumbodo, explained that this activity was the result of collaboration with various parties. Mangrove Replant is the result of collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering and various sponsors, starting from the Djarum Foundation, Sari Roti and the Central Java Provincial Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This is a routine program that does not only involve Chemical Engineering, but also from other faculties, even from other universities,” he said to rri.co.id, Saturday (18\/5\/2024). The Faculty of Engineering fully supports this activity as part of the Unnes clean green program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“As is known, in 2023, the Faculty of Engineering will rank first as a clean, green and healthy faculty,” he said when met at the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Unnes, Semarang City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Committee Chair Rona Najma said that this activity was motivated by Unnes’ conservation vision. “Unnes has a conservation perspective, from this activity students will be able to increase their insight into conservation and concern for nature,” he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, one of the participants, Dwi Prasojo, expressed his enthusiasm for this activity. “Of course it’s very exciting, because here we are actively involved in preserving the environment to prevent erosion of one of the beaches in Indonesia,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
