Universitas Indonesia GreenMetric (UIGM) is the first higher education ranking system in the world and is based on the university’s commitment to managing a sustainable campus environment. One of the components in this ranking is the tree rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2023, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) obtained 4.5 out of 5 points in the Trees Rating organized by UI GreenMatric. This value has increased from the previous year, when it got 4 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The achievement of 4.5 points in the Trees Rating cannot be separated from the various efforts of the UNNES campus in initiating programs and implementing the campus vision with a conservation perspective for the entire academic community in all aspects of activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Trees Rating assessment refers to six indicators, including campus conditions and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water use, transportation, and education and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This award was presented by Prof. Dr. Ir. Riri Fitri Sari, M.M., M.Sc., as chairman of UI GreenMatric and received by Prof. Dr. Amin Retnoningsih, M.Si., as Head of the UNNES Conservation Sub-Directorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This ranking also aims to encourage each university, especially UNNES, to overcome environmental problems at the tertiary level, become a consistent green campus, and have a high commitment to continuing to improve sustainable campus performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is great hope that in the coming year UNNES can get a perfect score in the UI GreenMatric Trees Rating Award and get the best ranking in the UI GreenMatric World University Ranking.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
