Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) held a ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Day on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the FISIP UNNES field in Semarang. The event served as a moment of reflection to reaffirm the values of Pancasila as the foundation for shaping students\u2019 character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rector of UNNES, Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si., emphasized the importance of strengthening national character among students. \u201cStudents are not only expected to excel academically but also to embody Pancasila values in real life,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further highlighted the strategic role of students as future leaders who promote peace. \u201cUNNES students are expected to become agents of peace who uphold humanity, unity, and tolerance both locally and globally,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rector also noted that Pancasila serves as a moral anchor in facing global challenges. \u201cPancasila is a guiding star that keeps Indonesia strong amid global uncertainty,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the understanding of multicultural values and deliberative principles, students are encouraged to bridge differences and foster constructive dialogue. The participation of the academic community in this ceremony reflects a shared commitment to unity and diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This commemoration demonstrates UNNES\u2019s commitment to instilling national values in young generations, enabling them to contribute to a just and harmonious society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
