UNNES Ecofarm welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The visit, represented by three delegates, aimed to explore the Integrated Farming system implemented at UNNES as part of sustainable agricultural development efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation was welcomed by the Head of the UNNES Subdirectorate of Conservation, Prof. Dr. Nana Kariada Tri Martuti, M.Si., who delivered an introductory presentation on the integrated farming concept applied at UNNES Ecofarm. The system integrates agriculture, livestock, and waste management into a continuous and sustainable cycle based on conservation and circular economy principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, the Universiti Malaya delegation gained insights into how integrated farming practices can improve resource efficiency while maintaining environmental balance. This approach is considered highly relevant in addressing the challenges of sustainable agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegates expressed interest in adopting similar practices within their campus environment. The visit also opens opportunities for future collaboration in education, research, and the implementation of sustainable agricultural systems through international partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
