<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ten international students from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) participated in an Indonesian Language course through direct communication practice at the UNNES Ecofarm Educational Tourism Garden on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The course, taught by Diyamon Prasandha, S.Pd., M.Pd., was designed as contextual learning to improve Indonesian language proficiency through direct interaction in a green campus environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the activity, students conducted interviews, discussions, and educational question-and-answer sessions by utilizing the Ecofarm as an open learning space based on conservation and sustainable agriculture. The students also took part in harvesting hydroponic mustard greens and practiced transplanting hydroponic seedlings under the guidance of Rahmanudin, S.Si., the manager of UNNES Ecofarm. Through these activities, students not only practiced spoken Indonesian but also learned thematic vocabulary and technical agricultural terms firsthand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The use of the UNNES Ecofarm Educational Tourism Garden as a learning medium reflects UNNES\u2019s commitment as a conservation-oriented university and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education through active and experiential learning, SDG 11 on Sustainable Cities and Communities through the use of green campus spaces as educational areas, and SDG 12 on Responsible Consumption and Production through education on hydroponic farming and sustainable food practices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
