This award was given in recognition of Prof. Nana\u2019s dedication to environmental conservation efforts along the coast of Semarang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Nana, who is a Professor of Environmental Science at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) and the Head of the Conservation Sub-Directorate, has been recognized for her consistent contributions through scientific research, environmental education, and support for coastal communities. Her work has played an important role in preserving <em>mangrove ecosystems<\/em>, mitigating coastal erosion, and strengthening community-based environmental awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his remarks, the Mayor of Semarang stated that the <em>Anugerah Wanita Puspakarya<\/em> was intended to honor women who play strategic roles in the city\u2019s development. He emphasized that Prof. Nana\u2019s contributions demonstrate the importance of female academics in providing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges, especially in coastal areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon receiving the award, Prof. Nana expressed her gratitude and hope that conservation efforts would continue to be strengthened through collaboration. \u201cI dedicate this award to all coastal communities, students, and colleagues who continue to work together to protect the environment.
