Twenty-five students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang (FISIP UNNES), under the guidance of lecturer Rudi Salam, attended a workshop held at the IV\/Diponegoro Regional Military Command Headquarters in Semarang on Thursday (August 14th).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The IV\/Diponegoro Regional Military Command (Kodam IV\/Diponegoro) held this event to commemorate Prince Diponegoro’s struggle. The workshop aimed to preserve the heroic values \u200b\u200band fighting spirit of Prince Diponegoro and instill them in TNI soldiers and the younger generation, including students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chief of Staff of the IV\/Diponegoro Regional Military Command, Brigadier General Muhammad Andhy Kusuma, in his remarks stated that this workshop served as a means to recall the history of Prince Diponegoro’s struggle, as well as to understand the background, course of the war, and strategies used in resisting colonial rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ani Fitri Mustofa, a student at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at UNNES, explained that this activity is crucial for internalizing heroic values, such as the spirit of never giving up, love of the homeland, and willingness to sacrifice for the nation, as reflected in Prince Diponegoro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event concluded with the reading of the seminar’s conclusions, which included linking Prince Diponegoro’s struggle to current challenges and encouraging the application of these values \u200b\u200bto maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
