Prodi Pendidikan Seni Tari, Jurusan Seni Drama Tari dan Musik FBS Universitas Negeri Semarang, memperingati Hari Tari Sedunia 2023 secara hybrid, Sabtu (29 April 2023). Peringatan tersebut dirayakan melalui pementasan via live streaming di kanal Youtube dan secara luring di Grand Maerakaca, Kompleks PRPP, Kota Semarang.

Perayaan Hari Tari Sedunia tahun ini mengusung tema “Membumikan Tari Tradisi Merajut Jati Diri”. Bentuk kegiatan yang digelar yakni Festival Tari Klasik  dan Pentas Semarak Tari Tradisi Jawa Tengah. Di live streaming, disiarkan Festival Tari Klasik yang diikuti oleh siswa SD, SMP, SMA/SMK Umum se-Jawa Tengah. Festival Tari Klasik tersebut menghadirkan 15 nominator dari sejumlah 67 peserta.

Ketua Panitia Lesa Paranti SPd MA mengatakan antusiasme peserta patut diapresiasi mengingat materi tari klasik yang dibawakan memiliki tingkat kesulitan yang tinggi. Hal tersebut, menurut Lesa, menunjukkan bahwa minat generasi muda untuk belajar tari klasik masih ada dan perlu terus dipupuk. “Ini menjadi tanggung jawab UNNES sebagai kampus yang konsisten mengusung nilai-nilai konservasi dalam hal seni dan budaya,” ujarnya.

Selain itu, di Maerakaca, ada pula sajian tari dari setiap angkatan mahasiswa serta bincang-bincang dengan tema “Estetika Tari Klasik” bersama Drs Bintang Hanggoro Putra MHum, dosen dan praktisi tari. Hal tersebut dimaksudkan sebagai wujud penyemaian kepada generasi selanjutnya bahwa tari klasik merupakan objek pemajuan kebudayaan yang memuat akar kebudayaan tradisi dan adat istiadat daerah.

Perhelatan pentas Semarak Tari Tradisi digelar bekerja sama dengan Grand Maerakaca Semarang menampilkan 10 sajian tari dengan total 59 orang penari. Bentuk sajian tari yang dipergelarkan adalah tari gaya semarangan, banyumasan, Surakarta, hingga kerakyatan Jawa Tengah.

Ketua Jurusan Pendidikan Sendratasik, Dr Udi Utomo MSi mengungkapkan bahwa Unnes Menari menjadi wahana bagi civitas akademika serta masyarakat untuk berapresiasi, berkreasi, berekspresi, sekaligus sarana edukasi dan konservasi disamping menikmati pertunjukan tari.

Dekan Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Dr Sri Rejeki Urip MHum menyampaikan bahwa acara UNNES Menari merupakan momentum yang baik untuk mengasah kreativitas mahasiswa untuk mengimplementasikan ilmu yang didapatkan selama perkuliahan. Di samping itu sebagai ajang belajar praktik secara langsung mengenai manajemen pertunjukan tari dalam suatu acara besar.

Kegiatan tersebut juga dilakukan secara luring dan daring dengan tujuan untuk menjangkau partisipasi masyarakat yang lebih luas serta sebagai media promosi Jurusan Pendidikan Sendratasik FBS UNNES kepada khalayak umum. Pada acara tersebut dilanjutkan dengan penandatanganan Implementation of Arrangement antara Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni dengan Maerakaca dalam wujud implementasi kerja sama dalam bidang pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
