Inovasikan Kulit Pisang, Mahasiswa FT UNNES Raih Medali Perak di Event Internasional

Minggu (17/5) kolaborasi mahasiswa UNNES berhasil ciptakan inovasi dalam event internasional. Sebanyak tiga mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik, satu mahasiswa Mahasiswa Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, dan mahasiwa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Afif Aliyfia Alfian (Pend Teknik Elektro), Ilmiana Nur Maulida (Pend Teknik Elektro), Abdul Basit (Teknik Mesin) berkolaborasi dengan Feby kristiansi (Pend. Kimia) dan Ashanti Dayani Ajengpitaloka (Pend. Bahasa Inggris) berhasil meraih medali perakdalam event AsianInvent Singapore 2020 (AiSG) dibawah bimbingan Arimaz Hangga, S.T.,M.T. Melalui judul S-fikusang (Smart Banana Peel Filter) : IOT-based Synthesis Filter Of Active Carbon From Banana Peel (Musa Paradisiaca) To Reduce Air Pollution” yakni berupa inovasi pemanfaatan kulit pisang sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi polusi udara.

Hasil penilaian pada kategori Youth Innovator dalam sub-kompetisi Technology and Enviroment-Friendy” menganugerahkan medali emas kepada delegasi France dengan project “ISentinel® – The Earthquake Intelligent Protection System”, medali perak kepada Tim Universitas Negeri Semarang dengan judul “S-fikusang (Smart Banana Peel Filter) : IOT-based Synthesis Filter Of Active Carbon From Banana Peel (Musa Paradisiaca) To Reduce Air Pollution” dan medali perunggu  kepada delegasi Nigeria dengan inovasi “Design And Development Of An Electronic Pest Control Device” Wakil Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan mengharapkan prestasi ini dapat menginspirasi mahasiswa Lainnya untuk berprestasi di forum ilmiah internasional maupun Nasional.

AsianInvent Singapore 2020 (AiSG) merupakan kompetisi penemuan internasional yang membawa para penemu dan inovator dari seluruh dunia ke Singapura, salah satu negara paling inovatif di dunia. Kompetisi ini terbuka untuk semua kalangan dengan tujuan sebagai platform untuk mengenalkan dan memvalidasi gagasan untuk langkah menuju komersialisasi dalam inovasi global. Kompetisi ini terakreditasi oleh European Academy of Science. Semua karya yang dipamerkan akan dinilai oleh panel juri internasional yang terdiri dari para pakar terkemuka dari berbagai industri. Event ini diikuti oleh 228 delegasi dari 16 negara untuk untuk mengikuti kompetisi penemuan dan pameran inovasi asli mereka di panggung dunia. Kompetisi ini diselenggarakan oleh Citizen Innovation pada tanggal 3-4 April dan proses penilaian pada tanggal 15-25 April 2020. Proses penilaian dilakukan oleh 7 juri yaitu,

(1) Sir Dr Wilson Young dari President of Association of British Inventors and Innovators,

(2) Prof Augustin Semenescu dari Politehnica University of Bucharest,

(3) A/Prof Andrei Victor Sandu dari Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași,

(4) A/Prof Ovidiu Nemes dari Technical University of Cluj-Napoca,

(5) Dr Xuan Zengpei dari Deputy Secretary General of China Association of Inventions,

(6) Majid El Bouazzaoui dari President of OFEED (Kingdom of Morocco),

(7) Muhammad Nabil dari Indonesia.

dan terdapat 2 Umpire dari  European Academy of Sciences yaitu
