Semarang, Indonesia \u2014 Students from the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Negeri Semarang (FT UNNES) have achieved another remarkable accomplishment. A student team named \u201cSEMARANG PANAS BANGET\u201d won a gold medal at the National Essay Competition of Gebyar Kreasi Himapemi (GREMI XII) 2026, held at the Auditorium of Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati, Cirebon, on Thursday, October 29, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team consisted of Muhaemin Nur Zaeni, a student from the Electrical Engineering Education Study Program, who served as the team leader, and Siti Fitria Yuliani, a student from the Electrical Engineering Study Program. Both students participated in the competition under the supervision of Dr. Agus Suryanto, M.T., as their faculty advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Winning the gold medal in this national essay competition demonstrates the students’ ability to develop innovative ideas, apply critical thinking, and communicate their perspectives through systematic academic writing. The achievement also highlights the potential of interdisciplinary collaboration among students from different study programs in producing competitive academic work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This accomplishment is expected to inspire other FT UNNES students to further develop their creativity, academic capabilities, and confidence in participating in national competitions.
