{"id":28985,"date":"2026-11-02T02:10:58","date_gmt":"2026-11-02T02:10:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/ft\/?p=28985"},"modified":"2026-11-02T02:10:58","modified_gmt":"2026-11-02T02:10:58","slug":"advancing-learning-strategies-through-a-public-lecture-with-umpsa-malaysia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/ft\/2026\/11\/02\/advancing-learning-strategies-through-a-public-lecture-with-umpsa-malaysia\/","title":{"rendered":"Advancing Learning Strategies Through a Public Lecture with UMPSA Malaysia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Faculty of Engineering at UNNES, in collaboration with the Faculty of Mechanical &amp; Automotive Engineering Technology at UMPSA Malaysia, held a public lecture series covering three key themes: &#8220;Current Research Progress in Dissimilar Metal Friction Stir Welding,&#8221; &#8220;Computational Fluid Dynamics in Biomedical and Hydrokinetic Systems: Shared Numerical Methods and Flow Physics,&#8221; and &#8220;Innovations in Solar Thermal Collectors and Drying Systems for the Tropics.&#8221; This initiative aligns with UNNES\u2019s vision of becoming a world-class university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event, which took place on October 28, 2026, in the meeting room on the third floor of the UNNES Faculty of Engineering Dean\u2019s Office, was attended by 200 enthusiastic students. The speakers from UMPSA\u2014Ts. Dr. Luqman Hakim bin Ahmad Shah, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Nasrul Hadi bin Johari, and Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Amir Abdul Razak\u2014shared their valuable insights and expertise. The leadership of the UNNES Faculty of Engineering, including the Dean, Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T., and the Vice Dean for Business, Research, and Collaboration, Rusiyanto, S.Pd., M.T., were also present to support the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his remarks, the Dean of the UNNES Faculty of Engineering emphasized that engineering students must be able to adapt to the rapid evolution of the technological landscape\u2014particularly the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which can facilitate and enhance the learning process.
