Lecturers from the Family Welfare Education (PKK) cluster at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), conducted a community service activity titled “SIMPELKU Implementation Workshop for Preparing Simple Financial Reports for Semarang City KIK Subject Teachers.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Led by Prof. Dr. Asih Kuswardinah, the event took place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the UNNES Faculty of Engineering Dean’s Office (3rd Floor) and was attended by 60 participants from the Semarang City KIK Subject Teacher Forum (MGMP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop was officially opened by the Dean of the UNNES Faculty of Engineering, followed by remarks from the Chair of the Semarang City KIK MGMP, Rr. Ajeng Rengganis, S.Pd., M.Pd., and the Chair of the Central Java Province KIK MGMP, Nanik Yulianis, S.Pd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The core workshop material was presented by the Coordinator of the UNNES Family Welfare Education Study Program, Dr. Rina Rachmawati, M.M., alongside Birawa Kaca Buana Gora, S.Pd. Participants gained a deeper understanding and hands-on experience in implementing SIMPELKU, a tool designed to assist in the preparation of simple financial reports within the Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (KIK) curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this activity, teachers are expected to become more skilled in understanding and teaching business financial management\u2014in a simple, systematic, and practical manner\u2014to their students. The event also represents a synergy between the university and the MGMP in enhancing teacher competence and supporting entrepreneurship education that meets student needs.
