Semarang, 9 November 2025 – Himpunan Mahasiswa Profesi Teknik Kimia (HMPTK) Universitas Negeri Semarang dengan bangga menyelenggarakan Seminar dan Bincang-bincang Nasional 2025 dengan tema “Integrasi Penangkapan, Pemanfaatan, dan Penyimpanan Karbon (CCUS) dalam Kerangka Transisi Energi Menuju Netralitas Emisi Karbon.”
Forum akademik ini berfungsi sebagai platform strategis untuk mendukung transisi energi nasional dan upaya pengurangan karbon, yang sejalan dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa, khususnya Tujuan 7 (Energi Terjangkau dan Bersih) dan Tujuan 13 (Aksi Iklim).

Acara ini diselenggarakan secara virtual melalui Zoom Clouds Meeting dan YouTube HMPTK, yang menarik lebih dari 800 peserta dari seluruh Indonesia, termasuk mahasiswa, dosen, peneliti, dan profesional dari berbagai industri energi, lingkungan, dan kimia.

Seminar ini menghadirkan empat pembicara terkemuka dari berbagai institusi terkemuka:

(Manajer Senior Operasi & Manufaktur, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional)

Seminar dibuka secara resmi oleh Dr.-Ing. Dhidik Prastiyanto, S.T., M.T., Wakil Dekan I Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Semarang, yang dalam sambutannya menekankan bahwa acara ini mencerminkan kontribusi nyata fakultas dalam mendukung transformasi energi nasional menuju ekonomi rendah karbon. Beliau menggarisbawahi pentingnya kolaborasi antara universitas, lembaga penelitian, badan pemerintah, dan sektor industri dalam mempercepat implementasi teknologi Penangkapan, Pemanfaatan, dan Penyimpanan Karbon (CCUS) skala besar di Indonesia.

“Peran mahasiswa teknik dalam memahami dan mengembangkan teknologi ramah lingkungan seperti CCUS sangatlah penting secara strategis. Seminar ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kontribusi akademis dalam mencapai target Net Zero Emission Indonesia pada tahun 2060,” ujar Dr.-Ing. Dhidik Prastiyanto dalam sambutannya.

Sepanjang sesi, para pembicara berbagi wawasan mendalam tentang peluang dan tantangan implementasi CCUS di Indonesia, yang mencakup aspek kebijakan energi regional, penelitian material penyerap karbon, perspektif lingkungan global, dan praktik industri berkelanjutan.

Melalui acara ini, Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Kimia Universitas Negeri Semarang menegaskan kembali komitmennya untuk memajukan transisi energi hijau, inovasi teknologi dekarbonisasi, dan pembangunan berkelanjutan nasional. Seminar Nasional dan Talkshow 2025 merupakan wadah kolaborasi yang mempertemukan akademisi, peneliti, dan praktisi dalam mewujudkan Indonesia yang berdaya saing, berwawasan lingkungan, dan berkelanjutan dalam rangka mewujudkan “Indonesia Emas 2045.”
