Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang Ciptakan Sampo Boba dari Ecoenzym Kulit Bawang Merah

Tim Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Kewirausahaan (PKMK) dari Universitas Negeri Semarang telah menciptakan inovasi terbaru di dunia perawatan rambut dengan memanfaatkan ecoenzym dari kulit bawang merah. Tim ini terdiri dari lima mahasiswa yang berasal dari berbagai jurusan, yaitu Natalia Arnandita (Pendidikan Tata Kecantikan, 2021), Indra Sakti Pangestu (Teknik Kimia, 2021), Nabila Putri (Farmasi, 2022), Siti Khoiriyah (Ekonomi Pembangunan, 2022), dan Lilyana (Pendidikan Tata Kecantikan, 2021), di bawah bimbingan dr. Eny Widhia Agustin, M.K.M.

Inovasi ini menghadirkan sampo dalam bentuk boba yang unik. Metode Spherification digunakan untuk menciptakan boba sampo, yang saat dipecah berubah menjadi cairan dan siap digunakan. Ide kreatif ini tidak hanya memberikan pengalaman baru dalam penggunaan sampo, tetapi juga membawa manfaat dari ecoenzym kulit bawang merah yang dikenal memiliki berbagai khasiat untuk kesehatan rambut.

Natalia Arnandita menjelaskan, “Ecoenzym kulit bawang merah yang kami gunakan kaya akan antioksidan dan nutrisi yang baik untuk rambut. Dengan bentuk boba, pengguna dapat dengan mudah mengontrol jumlah sampo yang digunakan, sehingga lebih praktis dan efisien.”

Indra Sakti Pangestu, dari Teknik Kimia, menambahkan bahwa metode Spherification dipilih karena dapat mempertahankan kualitas sampo dan memudahkan pengguna dalam mengaplikasikan produk. “Kami ingin menghadirkan produk yang inovatif dan bermanfaat, serta mudah digunakan oleh konsumen,” ujarnya.

Dibimbing oleh dr. Eny Widhia Agustin, tim ini berharap inovasi mereka dapat menjadi solusi alternatif dalam industri perawatan rambut, serta memberikan nilai tambah dari limbah kulit bawang merah yang selama ini kurang dimanfaatkan. “Kami bangga dengan apa yang telah dicapai oleh tim ini. Mereka telah menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas dan ilmu pengetahuan dapat bersinergi untuk menciptakan produk yang berguna bagi masyarakat,” kata dr. Eny Widhia Agustin.

Produk sampo boba ini diharapkan dapat segera memasuki pasar dan menjadi pilihan baru bagi konsumen yang peduli dengan kesehatan rambut dan lingkungan. Inovasi ini tidak hanya membuktikan kemampuan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang dalam berinovasi, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengurangan limbah dan peningkatan nilai tambah dari bahan-bahan alami.
