The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP),, has begun distributing co-branded Student Identity Cards (KTM) integrated with Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) services to new students for the 2026 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The distribution is being held for three days, from September 29 to October 1, 2026, at the C1 Building Hall, FISIP UNNES, Sekaran, Gunungpati, Semarang. A total of 1,320 cards are being distributed, corresponding to the number of new FISIP students enrolled in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the first day, around 400 students from the Geography Education and Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) study programs attended the distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new KTM serves not only as a student identity card but also as an ATM card linked to a BTN account. Students can use the account for saving money, making daily transactions, and paying tuition fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ardi Mukti Wibowo, a representative of BTN’s UNNES Branch Office, said students need to activate their accounts through the BTN application before using the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The new card is connected to the students’ accounts. They can use the account to save money, make everyday transactions, and pay their tuition fees. The card can also be used as an ATM,” Ardi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The distribution process consists of several stages, including student registration, account activation, and card collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ayuk Kris Ambarwati, a student in the PPKn study program, said the registration process was relatively quick.”The queue was fast. We only needed to register our names and activate the account. It is quite useful, especially for paying tuition fees,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fauzi Saputra, a 2026 Geography Education student, also welcomed the new card. He said the integrated ATM facility would make financial transactions easier for students.”There was not much waiting. It makes transactions easier because we already have an ATM card. As a student living away from home, I think it can also help me save time and money,” Fauzi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that he had previously planned to open a bank account and obtain an ATM card to support his daily needs as a university student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students who complete the card exchange process also receive a voucher worth Rp20,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The voucher can be used at 20 participating food outlets located around the Sekaran and Gunungpati areas. The program provides an additional benefit for new students as they begin their academic activities on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The distribution of the co-branded KTM will continue until October 1, 2026, with all 1,320 new FISIP UNNES students scheduled to receive their cards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
