Lecturers, administrative staff, and students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) organized a Qur\u2019an completion (Khatam Al-Qur\u2019an<\/em>) program throughout the month of Ramadan 2026. The initiative aims to complete the recitation of the Qur\u2019an five times during the holy month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To achieve this target, each participant is assigned to read one juz<\/em> of the Qur\u2019an. In total, 30 participants complete the full 30 juz<\/em> in one cycle of khatam. Participants are free to read the Qur\u2019an wherever they are, making it easier to fulfill their assigned portions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first khatam in the series was completed together at Al Ikhsan Mosque, FISIP, on Wednesday (March 4, 2026). During the gathering, participants jointly recited short chapters and concluded with the doa khatam Al-Qur\u2019an<\/em> (the prayer for completing the Qur\u2019an).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mohammad Syifauddin, the coordinator of the FISIP Qur\u2019an completion program, said the annual activity is expected to encourage members of the FISIP community to read the Qur\u2019an more regularly.\u201cThis collective khatam Al-Qur\u2019an activity is also intended to strengthen religious values among the FISIP community,\u201d Syifauddin said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ikmal Setiawan, a History student, expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the event.\u201cThis activity, masyaallah tabarakallah<\/em>, encourages us to complete the Qur\u2019an together and brings blessings for both this world and the hereafter,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Qur\u2019an completion program is also part of the series of events celebrating the 61st anniversary (Dies Natalis<\/em>) of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). \u201cI am happy to take part every year in celebrating the UNNES Dies Natalis by joining the Qur\u2019an completion program,\u201d said Ahmad Nurshodiq, a security officer at FISIP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Lecturers, administrative staff, and students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) organized a Qur\u2019an completion (Khatam Al-Qur\u2019an) program throughout the month of Ramadan 2026.
