The event focused on accelerating the completion of students\u2019 final projects across all study programs at FISIP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was held on Thursday (February 5, 2026). A total of 135 parents joined the event online, while 15 parents attended in person at the FISIP Hall, Sekaran Campus, Gunungpati, Semarang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the parents who attended in person was Dany Lesmono, the father of Aurelia Salma Thlita, a student of the Geography Education Study Program. Students are given flexible options for their final projects in accordance with academic regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Coordinator of the Geography Education Study Program, Sriyanto, explained that final projects are not limited to traditional theses, but may also take the form of journal articles. He emphasized the importance of strong cooperation and communication between students and academic supervisors to ensure a smooth completion process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of its commitment to accelerating graduation, the faculty will continue to evaluate the supervision process, including making changes to academic supervisors if obstacles arise during the mentoring process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) held a meeting with parents of undergraduate students to support efforts to accelerate the graduation of the 2022 student cohort.
