Semarang, October 26, 2025 \u2014 Another proud achievement has been made by a student of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science (FISIP), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). Gesner Elbaryo Naftali (Student ID 3401422146), from the Sociology and Anthropology Education Program, successfully won 2nd Place in the Men\u2019s General Category at the Sabhagiriwana\u201917 National Orienteering Competition X (SNOC X) organized by Mapala Sabhagiriwana, Universitas 17 Agustus Semarang (UNTAG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition, held at SDN 01 Wonoplumbon, Mijen, Semarang, featured a Score Orienteering format at the national level, attracting participants from various regions across Indonesia. This event served as a platform for orienteering athletes to demonstrate their navigation skills, physical endurance, and strategic abilities in reading maps and terrains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gesner\u2019s accomplishment reflects the determination and consistency of FISIP UNNES students in achieving excellence beyond academics. With strong dedication and guidance from his supervisor, Purnomo Adi Saputro, S.Pd., M.Sc., Gesner successfully competed at the national level and brought honor to his university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
