Jeddah \u2013 The Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) visited Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah (SIJ) on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. The visit was part of UNNES\u2019s efforts to expand its international academic network and strengthen academic relations with Indonesian educational institutions abroad. The FIPP delegation was represented by Farid Ahmadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D., together with his team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FIPP team received a warm welcome from Mahrani, M.Pd., Head of Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah, along with the teachers. The visit continued with a discussion and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) focusing on various aspects of education. The forum provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, ideas, and perspectives on educational development and the challenges faced in the context of Indonesian education abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussion took place in an open and constructive atmosphere. Through the FGD, FIPP and Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah exchanged ideas while exploring opportunities to strengthen collaboration in the field of education. The meeting also served as an important momentum for building an academic network that can provide mutual benefits for both institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the discussion, the visit continued with an introduction to Universitas Negeri Semarang for Grade 12 students of Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah. The students received information about UNNES and opportunities to pursue higher education at the university. This activity is expected to broaden students\u2019 perspectives on higher education options while introducing UNNES as a potential destination for graduates of Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
