Before the event started, the Dean of FIPP UNNES, Prof. Dr. Edy Purwanto, M.Si., gave a welcome speech and shared his experience of recently attending a national curriculum development event to evaluate the Merdeka Curriculum. He provided information on the importance of curriculum development. As the Dean of FIPP, Prof. Dr. Edy Purwanto, M.Si., emphasized, “At UNNES, we have an undergraduate program in Educational Technology and a master’s program in Curriculum Development. It would be ideal to have curriculum development at the undergraduate, master’s, and even doctoral levels. Therefore, when the government needs to create a curriculum, it should seek guidance from universities with established curriculum studies.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening discussion featured Prof. Dinn Wahyudin, a professor of curriculum development at UPI and the chairman of the Indonesian Curriculum Developers Association (Hipkin), and Anindito Aditomo, Ph.D., Head of the Standards, Curriculum, and Assessment Agency (BSKAP) at the Ministry of Education and Culture. This was followed by parallel presentation sessions divided into two main themes: curriculum and educational technology. Presenters included participants from UNNES and international representatives from Nigeria and the Philippines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second day of the symposium, a literature review workshop was held, featuring Dr. Adhitya Marendra Kiloes from BRIN. The workshop aimed to enable participants, including lecturers and students from both within and outside UNNES, to achieve the symposium’s goal of fostering a productive epistemic community in research and scientific publication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
