On May 14, 2024<\/strong>, the Faculty of Education and Psychology at Universitas Negeri Semarang (FIPP UNNES) welcomed a working visit from the Directorate of Professional and Competency Education, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (DPPK UNY). The event was welcomed by the Vice Dean III of FIPP UNNES, Siti Nuzulia, S.Psi. M.Si., Ph.D., and attended by the leadership of the Counselor Professional Education Program (Prodi PPK) FIPP UNNES, along with the leadership of DPPK UNY. This activity is a key agenda for the development of professional programs in the Non-Teacher Professional Education Unit of DPPK UNY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event began with a welcoming speech by the Vice Dean III of FIPP UNNES, during which she also introduced the study programs under the auspices of FIPP UNNES. The event continued with a Focus Group Discussion to discuss the curriculum and development of Prodi PPK FIPP UNNES, led directly by Drs. Eko Nusantoro, M.Pd., Kons., who is the head of Prodi PPK FIPP UNNES. The discussion was interactive between Prodi PPK FIPP UNNES and DPPK UNY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity is expected to be the first step in the development of counselor professional education at various campuses in Indonesia, currently being initiated by Prodi PPK FIPP UNNES. Therefore, DPPK UNY has taken the right step by conducting benchmarking at Prodi PPK FIPP UNNES. Thus, it is hoped that efforts to develop professional education will continue smoothly and be blessed in producing professional counselors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The benchmarking concluded with the signing of an Implementation of Agreement by both parties.
