Psychology UNNES<\/strong> \u2013 Psychology Department of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) held an International Class Lecture event on Tuesday, (5\/03), attended by 4th-semester Psychology students and International Students at the A6 FIPP UNNES Building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this International Class Lecture event, the Psychology Department of UNNES invited Dr. Jinsu Yom, Ph.D., who is a Doctor of Education at Myeongji University, South Korea, and Founder & President of Better World. The discussion at the event focused on “A Metacognition Role for Better Learning: A Psychology Perspective.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The International Class Lecture event lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes, beginning with an opening, presentation of the material, Q&A session, and closing. During the presentation, Dr. Jinsu Yom, Ph.D., explained that cognitive psychology focuses on human behavior and psychological processes to transform, simplify, and elaborate sensory information. The metacognitive learning process requires cognitive experience. Metacognition education allows time to think about solutions rather than correct answers, the process rather than the outcome, and diverse and enjoyable experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s very exciting to delve deeper into how humans truly use their cognitive abilities to process information, especially as Mr. Yom’s delivery is very easy to understand. The event became even more interesting because Mr. Yom shared perspectives on learning culture from Korea and highlighted internship opportunities between UNNES psychology and Better World Korea.” said Mrs. Pundani Eki Pratiwi S.Psi., M.Psi., a lecturer at UNNES Psychology Department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
