On March 30th, 2023, the Dean of the Faculty of Education at Semarang State University, Dr. Edy Purwanto, M.Si., presented the AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation) accreditation certificate to the Head of the Guidance and Counseling Department, Kusnarto Kurniawan, S.Pd., Kons., M.Pd., and the Head of the Early Childhood Teacher Education Department, Amirul Mukminin, S.Pd., M.Kes. The certificate presentation ceremony took place at the Faculty of Education’s auditorium and was attended by faculty members and officials from both departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AQAS accreditation is a form of recognition of the quality of education provided by an institution or study program. In the accreditation process, AQAS evaluates specific criteria related to quality standards, curriculum, teaching staff, facilities and infrastructure, as well as management and finance. AQAS accreditation is also internationally recognized and can enhance the reputation and credibility of an institution or study program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Edy Purwanto, M.Si., also expressed appreciation to both departments for achieving AQAS accreditation. “I hope this achievement can motivate all faculty members and staff to continue innovating in education and advancing our faculty and university,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
