This activity aimed to strengthen participants&#8217; understanding of the use of bibliometric analysis to identify research gaps <em>and<\/em> map the latest developments in a scientific field ( <em>the state of the art<\/em> ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was opened by the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Guidance and Counseling at UNNES, Mulawarman, M.Pd., Ph.D., and featured Bambang Sumintono, Ph.D., a lecturer at the Faculty of Education at the International Islamic University of Indonesia, as a resource person. He is known for his expertise in educational research and bibliometrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this workshop, participants gained insight into scientific literature search and mapping strategies to help identify research trends, topic developments, and under-explored research opportunities.
