<\/strong>Semarang \u2014 The Psychology Study Program of Semarang State University held an EEG (Electroencephalography) Workshop on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edmi Edison, Ph.D. from the University of Brunei Darussalam as a resource person. This activity aims to improve the understanding and academic skills of lecturers, laboratory assistants, and representatives of UNNES Psychology students in using EEG devices for cognitive and behavioral research.
This workshop included a presentation of material on the structure and function of the brain, practical use of EEG devices, and an interactive discussion with a Socratic Dialogue approach. Through this activity, participants had the opportunity to deepen their technical understanding of EEG use while opening up opportunities for broader research development in the field of cognitive and behavioral psychology.
This activity supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Healthy and Prosperous Life, by strengthening knowledge and research related to brain function and human behavior. In addition, this workshop contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education, through enhancing academic competencies and research skills, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for Achieving the Goals, through knowledge exchange and academic collaboration with speakers from Universiti Brunei Darussalam.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
