<\/strong>Pulau Pinang, August 19, 2025 \u2014 The Educational Technology Study Program, Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP), Semarang State University (UNNES), conducted an international community service activity with the Indonesian Community Organization (PERMAI) of Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. This activity is part of the university’s contribution to supporting the development of education for Indonesians living abroad.
The service activity provides a forum for building relationships and sharing experiences with the Indonesian community in Pulau Pinang. Collaboration with PERMAI is expected to open up space for collaboration in supporting educational needs and increasing learning opportunities for Indonesians in the international environment.
Community service abroad also provides an opportunity for universities to understand the challenges of education in a cross-border context. Through interactions with the Indonesian community in Malaysia, this activity can be a first step in developing educational programs that are tailored to community needs and strengthen relationships between educational institutions and the Indonesian diaspora community.
This activity supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, through the university’s contribution in expanding educational support and encouraging more inclusive learning opportunities. This effort aligns with the importance of ensuring that Indonesians, including those living abroad, continue to receive support to develop their knowledge and skills.
Through this international community service program, the UNNES Educational Technology Study Program is expected to continue expanding its academic and social contributions to Indonesian communities abroad. The collaboration with PERMAI Pulau Pinang also provides an opportunity to strengthen sustainable partnerships in supporting educational development and improving the quality of human resources.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
