<\/strong>Semarang, November 25, 2025 \u2014 The Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Semarang State University (UNNES) held a Teachers’ Day Seminar with the theme “Strengthening Education as the Nation’s Moral Compass: Sharpening Right-Wrong and Good-Bad Thinking Skills.” This activity served as a momentum to commemorate Teachers’ Day while reflecting on the strategic role of education in shaping the character and morals of the nation’s next generation.
The seminar featured Sabrang Mowo Damar Panuluh or Noe Letto as a resource person. The discussion focused on the importance of education in developing critical thinking skills and moral awareness. Education is not only oriented towards mastering knowledge, but also needs to help students understand values, consider actions, and distinguish between right and wrong and good and bad.
Through this seminar, participants were invited to reflect on the role of teachers as educators who not only deliver learning materials but also serve as role models in building students’ character. Teachers have a crucial role in creating a learning process that encourages thinking skills, shapes attitudes, and fosters responsibility in community life.
