<\/strong>Semarang, May 23, 2025 \u2014 The petanque team from the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Semarang State University (UNNES) won third place in an inter-unit petanque competition within UNNES. This achievement is a source of pride for FIPP UNNES and demonstrates the active participation of the academic community in sports activities held at the university level.
The competition was part of the inter-unit and dharma wanita sports activities in the framework of UNNES’s 60th Anniversary and 12th Lustrum. Through this competition, representatives from various units within UNNES had the opportunity to participate, develop their sports skills, and strengthen relationships between academic communities.
The success of the FIPP UNNES team in achieving third place demonstrates the enthusiasm, cooperation, and sportsmanship in participating in the competition. Participation in sports activities also provides space for the academic community to maintain fitness while building positive interactions outside of academic activities.
This activity supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Healthy and Prosperous Life, through participation in sports activities that encourage an active and healthy lifestyle. In addition to improving physical fitness, joint sports activities can also strengthen social well-being and create a more positive work environment.
This achievement is expected to motivate the FIPP UNNES academic community to continue participating in sports activities and developing a healthy lifestyle.
