This activity is part of an effort to foster awareness among the academic community towards environmental conservation and encourage the implementation of conservation values \u200b\u200bthrough concrete actions in the campus environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"587\" height=\"417\" src=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/fipp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/10\/image-37.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10093\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.407673860911271;width:587px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/fipp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/10\/image-37.png 587w, https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/fipp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/10\/image-37-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 587px) 100vw, 587px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br>This workshop focused on strengthening the role of conservation cadres and introducing ecobricks as a means of utilizing plastic waste. Through this activity, participants are expected to gain an understanding of the importance of waste management and the role of individuals and communities in reducing the impact of plastic waste on the environment.<br><br>Ecobrick making is one approach to utilizing plastic waste that has been cleaned and compressed into plastic bottles so that it can be used as a material for certain products. This practice can serve as a means of environmental education while encouraging the habit of sorting and managing waste. Strengthening conservation cadres is expected to expand the dissemination of knowledge and practices of environmental awareness within the faculty and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"497\" height=\"282\" src=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/fipp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/10\/image-38.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10094\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7624113475177305;width:497px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/fipp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/10\/image-38.png 497w, https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/fipp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/10\/image-38-300x170.png 300w, https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/fipp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/10\/image-38-495x282.png 495w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 497px) 100vw, 497px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br>This activity supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13: Addressing Climate Change by increasing awareness and participation in protecting the environment and encouraging more sustainable behavior. Furthermore, this activity is related to SDG 15: Terrestrial Ecosystems, by strengthening awareness of environmental sustainability and efforts to reduce pollution that can impact ecosystems.<br><br>Through the Conservation Cadre Workshop and Ecobrick Making, FIPP UNNES continues to encourage the formation of a culture of environmental care through education and active involvement of the academic community.
