4th Semester PLS FIPP UNNES Students Start Planting and Maintaining Durian and Alpulat Tree Seedlings Project for Community Service Course 

Semarang, June 6, 2024.  PLS FIPP UNNES students are proud to announce the launch of a community service course project conducted by its fourth semester students. By collaborating with a group of students taking the course, these students have embarked on a mission to cultivate and care for durian and avocado trees in the campus environment as part of the Community Service course assignment.

Recognizing the importance of environmental sustainability and community well-being, these students took the initiative to make a positive contribution to their surroundings. Through careful planning and dedication, they designed a project that aimed to enrich the local ecosystem while fostering a sense of environmental responsibility among the local population. 

The initiative involved planting and caring for durian and alpulat trees, two species renowned for their ecological benefits and economic significance. With guidance from academic lecturers and field experts, the students will oversee every aspect of the project, from selecting the right planting sites to providing ongoing maintenance and support.
