SEMARANG – The Secretary of Semarang State University (UNNES), Prof. Dr. Sugianto, M.Sc., conducted monitoring and evaluation (monev) of the first lectures of the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) on Monday, February 9, 2026.
During the visit, Prof. Sugianto was accompanied by the Vice Dean I of FIPP, Farid Ahmadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D., the Study Program Coordinators (Koorprodi), and the faculty’s Quality Assurance Task Force. The review took place in several study programs, including Psychology, Early Childhood Teacher Education (PG PAUD), and Educational Technology.

Based on field observations, Prof. Sugianto stated that overall, the first day of classes proceeded smoothly and on time. He appreciated the readiness of the facilities at FIPP, particularly the smart classroom, which has been optimally utilized.
“In general, lectures are running according to schedule. Lecturers arrive on time, and students are orderly in their classrooms. In terms of infrastructure at FIPP, I think it’s very good. The smart classroom facilities are excellent and are being utilized optimally,” said Prof. Sugianto.
While the administrative aspects and infrastructure are considered adequate, Prof. Sugianto emphasized the importance of maintaining the substance of the lectures. He asked faculty leaders to not only monitor attendance but also ensure the learning process aligns with the plans prepared by the lecturers.
“What needs to be emphasized again is the lecture process itself. It’s important to monitor whether it’s running according to the plans made by the lecturers. It’s not just about attendance; the quality of learning is what faculty leaders need to focus on,” he emphasized.
This monitoring and evaluation activity is part of UNNES’ commitment to ensuring academic quality and ensuring that educational services to students remain at the highest standards from the first day of the semester.
