Semarang, October 2, 2024. A delegation of lecturers from the Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) visited the Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi (FIPP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). The main goal of this visit was to strengthen academic collaboration and share knowledge in the field of education, as well as to foster closer ties between the two higher education institutions.
The delegation from FIP UNJ was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FIPP UNNES, Prof. Dr. Edy Purwanto, M.Si. The welcoming event was also attended by all Vice Deans I, II, and III, Program Coordinators, as well as teams from the integrated laboratory and the cooperation unit of FIPP UNNES. This warm reception reflected the collaborative spirit between the two faculties, which are committed to supporting each other in improving the quality of education.
During the two-day event, UNJ lecturers taught in several programs at FIPP and held interactive discussions with lecturers from undergraduate and master’s programs at FIPP UNNES. The discussions focused on educational and research development, aiming to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices in teaching. The participants not only gained new insights into the latest teaching methods but also had the opportunity to strengthen connections for future research collaborations.
This activity is expected to result in concrete steps toward strengthening collaboration between the two faculties. With the established synergy, both institutions are anticipated to enhance the overall quality of education and contribute more significantly to the development of education in Indonesia. Through this exchange of knowledge and experiences, it is hoped that academics and students from FIP UNJ and FIPP UNNES will inspire and collaborate on various innovative educational projects.
