Benchmarking of the Quality Assurance Cluster of FEP UNNES to FE UNESA

Surabaya, June 6, 2024 – The Faculty of Education and Psychology at Universitas Negeri Semarang (FEP UNNES) conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Education at Universitas Negeri Surabaya (FE UNESA). This event was attended by the Vice Dean I (Farid Ahmadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D.), Vice Dean III (Siti Nuzulia, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D.), Quality Assurance Cluster (GPM) members Elok Fariha Sari, M.Pd., and Wantoro, M.Pd., along with 8 lecturers from FEP UNNES. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Ima Widyanah and Sherrin Nurita Widya, M.Pd., (GPM FE UNESA) along with 4 lecturers from FE UNESA.

The benchmarking was conducted in a Focused Group Discussion setting to prepare for 9 criteria accreditation, Quality Assurance Information Systems, Independent Campus, Freedom to Learn, understanding SPMI systems and PPEPP cycles, and quality documents. The benchmarking involved observing and discussing the implementation of quality assurance systems at another higher education institution, namely the Faculty of Education at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The external benchmarking process was carried out by studying, observing, and adapting quality assurance practices at the Faculty of Education at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The activities included best practices in quality management, learning the management of GPM organizations, PPEPP cycles, and quality documents.

This benchmarking is expected to serve as a benchmark for the development of the Quality Assurance Cluster at the Faculty of Education and Psychology UNNES to synergize in producing educators who have inspirational character values and are competitive on the international stage.
