The Faculty of Education and Psychology (FEP) at Universitas Negeri Semarang held a faculty leadership meeting on Wednesday-Thursday (July 24-25, 2024) in Salatiga. The leadership meeting aimed to reflect on the performance achievements of the first semester of 2024 and to develop more specific strategies for achieving the performance goals for the second semester of 2024. The event was attended by the Rector of UNNES, Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si., accompanied by the Vice Rector for General Affairs, Human Resources, Planning, and Finance, Prof. Heri Yanto, M.BA., Ph.D.
The leadership meeting was attended by 33 participants, consisting of faculty leaders, study program coordinators, study program laboratory coordinators, cluster heads, and educational staff within FEP. This forum served as a platform for participants to discuss and reflect on the achievements of the first semester and to develop specific strategies to achieve performance targets in the second semester of 2024. The Rector of UNNES, Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si., provided direct guidance in initiating the strategy formulation for FEP’s performance achievements in the second semester.
In his guidance, Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si., conveyed several important pieces of information, including reflections on FEP’s performance achievements in the first semester and efforts to accelerate World Class University status in support of UNNES’s vision. The Rector emphasized the importance of improving future performance, stating, “The previous achievements should remain as they are, and the most important thing is to focus on the future.” The Rector’s guidance concluded with the hope that priority programs would embrace aspects that could support the improvement of performance achievements in the PTNBH League and the acceleration towards WCU status. Prof. Dr. Edy Purwanto, M.Si., the Dean of FEP, welcomed the Rector’s guidance and committed to achieving FEP’s performance targets in the second semester of 2024. “We may fail or make mistakes, but we must not be demotivated. We can adopt best practices from other work units that can motivate us to achieve our performance targets in this semester,” said Prof. Edy Purwanto.
