Vision and mission

The development of the Faculty of Law is inseparable from Semarang State University’s vision of becoming a world-renowned university and a pioneer in conservation-oriented educational excellence. The Faculty of Law embodies this vision: “To become a globally renowned law faculty, to develop a God-based legal science, and to produce professional and humanistic legal professionals.”

Introduction

The Faculty of Law has transformed into one of the best in Indonesia. In 2023, the Faculty of Law also became the fastest-growing faculty at Semarang State University.

The development of the Faculty of Law is inseparable from Semarang State University’s vision: to become a world-renowned university and a pioneer of excellence in conservation-oriented education. The Faculty of Law’s vision is “To Become a World-Renowned Law Faculty, Developing God-Based Legal Science, and Producing Professional and Humanistic Legal Professionals.” This vision is based on three pillars: the institutional vision of global reputation, the vision of developing knowledge, namely God-based legal science, and the vision of producing professional and humanistic legal professionals. This vision is also embodied in the mission and objectives of the Faculty of Law.

  1. Providing a globally recognized and reputable education in religious law to produce professional and humanistic legal professionals.
  2. Conducting research in the development of religious law and legal reform based on Pancasila;
  3. Carrying out community service in the legal field to solve problems, empower, and improve the welfare of the community;
  4. Implementing good governance, adapting to the environment, and synergizing sustainably and equitably;
  5. Implementing collaboration to build reputation.
