Semarang, September 3, 2025 – The Faculty of Law, State University of Semarang (FH UNNES) held a Coordination Meeting for the Technical Discussion of the Draft MoU between UNNES and the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT). This activity is a strategic step in strengthening the role of universities, especially FH UNNES, in supporting efforts to prevent, counter radicalism, and terrorism in Indonesia.
This coordination meeting was attended by the leadership of FH UNNES together with BNPT representatives, with the main focus on the preparation of the draft MoU which includes research collaboration, education, capacity building, and community service programs. This collaboration is expected to be able to produce solutions and implementive ideas in building a peaceful, inclusive, and just society.
This activity is in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, which emphasizes the importance of building a peaceful, just, and institutionally strong society. Through the collaborative initiative with BNPT, FH UNNES has shown a real contribution in strengthening the role of universities as strategic partners of the state in maintaining national stability and strengthening the legal culture.
