Six students from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) recipient of Djarum Plus Scholarship (Beswan) from various majors visited Rector of UNNES Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman MHum accompanied by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdurrahman MPd, who was also representing Djarum in giving a report as a sign of completion of the scholarship program received, Thursday (28/2) in the Rectorate, Sekaran Gunungpati
They are Danang Fathul Muslim a student of the Primary Teacher Education (PGSD) Department of the Faculty of Education (FIP), Bunnari Chemistry student (Mathematics and Science Faculty/FMIPA), Hanif Mahfud Chemistry student (Faculty of Mathematics and Science/FMIPA), Laurentius Mahendra Christian Physics Education (Faculty of Mathematics and Science/FMIPA), Muhammad Fahrul Rahman Alim Chemical Engineering (Faculty of Engineering), and Hasna Warda Widdaty Early Childhood Education/PGPAUD (Faculty of Education).
Danang said that the six UNNES students joined with 500 students from various universities throughout Indonesia.
Djarum Scholarship program that was obtained greatly helped the scientific and personal development, namely from character building training, leadership development, nation building are the methods that were obtained and practiced through means of competition challenges, international exposure, and community empowerment.
Danang also said that the values obtained were relevant to the vision and mission of UNNES to become the First Cluster University with an international reputation.
The same thing was conveyed by Bunnari, a Chemistry student at Mathematics and Science Faculty, who was trained to practice teaching by forming a pilot school. This helps increase teaching power and knowledge transfer, he explained.
Bunnari added, after completing the scholarship program we were ready to share and apply the knowledge obtained at campus.
Prof. Fathur Rokhman was very proud and appreciated the six students who had finished running the plus scholarship program from Djarum. Indeed, between UNNES and Djarum, they have collaborated well including the use of laboratories.
In addition, many UNNES alumni teach in Vocational Schools managed by Djarum, and community service.
