UNNES Student Teaching in Thailand

Lolita Noor Amalia from the Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) became one of forty students from all over Indonesia who were selected to join the young teacher exchange program in Southern Thailand for twenty-five days (16 / 7-9 / 8).

The student majoring in Sociology and Anthropology teaches several subjects, such as Indonesian, basic English, Indonesian nasyid and culture at the Romklao School in Narathiwat province, Southern Thailand.

Language Lover Community and Abroad Alumni Association of Southern Border Province Thailand collaborated to hold the Indonesian Youth Teacher Exchange Program (IYTEP) 2018. IYTEP is a teaching program in Islamic schools in Southern Thailand with the aim of introducing Indonesian culture in Thailand. To participate in this program national selection from various regions throughout Indonesia was held.
