Two Lecturers from Faculty of Economics UNNES Became Guest Lecturers in UPSI, Malaysia

Two lecturers from Faculty of Economics Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) became Guest Lecturers for one day at Universitas Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia, in the new campus in Proton, Monday (7/5). The two lecturers are Prof Dr Sucihatiningsih Dian Wisika Prajanti SE MSI and Sri Utami SS MA MPd.

Based on the information obtained by unnes.ac.id, the lecture attended by 30 UPSI students was started by the lecture from Prof Suci entitled “Agricultural Extension in Central Java”, specifically in Grobogan, Klaten, in Magelang. It was continued to the second lecture by Sri Utami SS MA MPd with the theme “Developing Rebana Cluster by Empowering Existing Social Capital” with the case study in Brebes.

UPSI students were very enthusiastic during the lecture, including actively involved in the discussion session.

The Head of Economics Department UPSI Dr Norimah binti Rambeli stated the event of inviting guest lecturer can broaden students’ insight on community condition outside Malaysia, in this case, Indonesia, so that they gain better knowledge, not only know the economic activities in Malaysia.
