Rising International Reputation, UNNES Signed Cooperation with Chung Cheng University Taiwan

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) is cooperating with Chung Cheng University (CCU) Taiwan. It was held with the signing of the Minutes of Meeting (MoM) and discussions related to the cooperation between the two parties on Friday (27/10), in the Senate Room of Dekanat Building of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Campus UNNES Sekaran, Semarang.

The event was also attended by Head of International Office of UNNES, Intan Permata Hapsari, MPd, Dr. As the Expert Staff of Foreign Cooperation Ratna Dewi Kusumaningtyas giving opportunity to staff and officers from every study program as UNNES representative. Meanwhile, the CCU is represented by Professor Gary Shyi, as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Marco Lin, and Prof Victoria Ro.

As the opening speaker, Dr. Ratna Dewi stated that the cooperation will be done in the field of Cognitive Science and Information Technology. From that field, he added, the offer of cooperation to be conducted by the student program, international internships, invite the professor from CCU to become guest lecturer.

From the CCU, Gary stated that the cooperation offered by the CCU itself consists of several programs, student students, international summer school invites, and scholarships at CCU.

Please note, Chung Cheng University is one of Taiwan’s best universities located in Chiyayi. The university has 8 faculty consisting of 29 majors. There are more than 12,000 students enrolled here, including 652 foreign students from different countries around the world.
