Department of Teacher Education in Early Childhood Education Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) get visitation from University of Adger Norway on Thursday and Friday (21-22 / 12). This visit was conducted by Assistant Professor Haege Johannessen with a Norwegian early childhood teacher who is also a diaspora from Cilacap, Retno Tomstad.
The arrival of both parties from Norway is aimed to see the development of early childhood studies in universities as well as in institutions of early childhood (kindergarten and KB).
This two-day visit begins with a gathering of the University of Adger with the Dean of Faculty of Science Education, Prof. Fakhruddin, M. Pd. In this occasion, the three parties signed MoM cooperation and discussed the form of cooperation between 3 agencies (UNNES, Universities of Agder, and Maurtua Kindergarten). After that, the agenda continues with the sharing information about Early Childhood Education in Norway with students of the international program of Early Childhood Education.
On the second day, the two guests from Norway visited the KB and kindergarten of UNNES Lab-School and were welcomed by the KB principal, Dhiana Binantari, S. Pd. From the visit, Retno revealed that there is a need for teacher exchange to see the educational process in Indonesia and in Norway. Finishing the activities on the second day, Haege and Retno also visited the UNNES Post-graduate Program and met the head of the Study Program, Yuli Kurniawati, Ph.D. The visit concludes with Forum Group Discussion with students who are concentrating on Early Childhood Education program.
