4 UNNES Study Programs are targeted to Achieve AQAS International Accreditation

Semarang State University (UNNES) has again proposed four study programs (Prodi) to get international accreditation from the Agency for Quality Assurance through the Accreditation of Study Programs (AQAS) accreditation.

Four study programs are currently in the process of obtaining international accreditation from AQAS, namely the Chemistry Education Study Program (S1), the Mathematics Education Study Program (S1), the Physics Education Study Program (S1), and the Informatics and Computer Education Study Program (S1).

The Chancellor of UNNES, Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman MHum, said that UNNES was trying to continuously improve its quality. As an effort to make Semarang State University a university of international standard, UNNES strives to carry out the accreditation process for various study programs.

“UNNES always wants to improve its quality, not only the best in the country, but also wants to be more widely known in the world. One of its efforts, UNNES cooperates with various international accreditation bodies. One of them that will become partners in international accreditation efforts is AQAS,” said Prof Fathur.

Previously, UNNES had proposed Study Programs from the language group and management and law groups, namely the English Education Study Program S1, the English Literature Study Program S1 and the Arabic Language Education Study Program S1, the Accounting Study Program S1, the Economics Education Study Program S1, the Management Study Program S1, and the Legal Studies Study Program to gain international recognition.

Prof. Fathur hopes that this activity can realize World Class University Oriented Governance.
