UNNES Wujudkan Konsep “Menara Air”, Bukan “Menara Gading”, dalam Pengelolaan Pegandan

Semarang, 16 Oktober 2025 – Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) mengukuhkan komitmennya sebagai institusi yang mengalirkan manfaat langsung kepada masyarakat, mewujudkan konsep “Menara Air” alih-alih “Menara Gading”. Komitmen ini diimplementasikan melalui Rapat Koordinasi Pengelolaan Kampus Pegandan yang digelar di ruang rapat Subdirektorat Umum DUSDM pada 30 Oktober 2025.

Rapat ini bertujuan menciptakan sinergi antara UNNES dan pemangku wilayah guna memastikan pengelolaan Kampus Pegandan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi kemajuan lingkungan sekitar. Kampus Pegandan sendiri berlokasi strategis di Kelurahan Sampangan, Kecamatan Gajahmungkur, Kota Semarang.

Kolaborasi Multi-Pihak

Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh perwakilan penting dari internal kampus dan komunitas lokal, menandai upaya kolaboratif dalam pencarian solusi tuntas atas berbagai isu di area kampus. Para peserta yang hadir meliputi:

  • Ketua RT dan Ketua RW setempat.
  • Kepala Sekolah Labschool UNNES.
  • Sekretaris LPPP UNNES.
  • Kepala Seksi Aset UNNES.
  • Kepala Seksi Kerumahtanggaan UNNES.
  • Wakil Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK).

Mengawali diskusi, Kepala Seksi Aset UNNES menekankan pentingnya sinergi antara UNNES dan warga sekitar Kampus Pegandan, dengan menyatakan bahwa komunikasi dan saling mengenal adalah kunci kolaborasi.

Pembahasan Permasalahan dan Usulan Warga

Acara dilanjutkan dengan pembahasan komprehensif mengenai berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi di Kampus Pegandan. Warga sekitar turut menyampaikan usulan konstruktif. Isu-isu utama yang mencuat meliputi: pemanfaatan aset kampus, sinergi kegiatan akademik dengan lingkungan sekitar, serta aspek keamanan dan ketertiban.

Hasil dari rapat koordinasi ini akan menjadi landasan bagi penyusunan kebijakan dan langkah strategis UNNES selanjutnya. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menjamin Kampus Pegandan dapat dikelola secara optimal, tertib, dan berkelanjutan, serta mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi pengembangan wilayah di sekitarnya. (AW)
