Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) bekerja sama dengan Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) menggelar Seminar Internasional bertajuk Warisan Nusantara 2 dengan tema “Pelestarian dan Pengembangan Kebudayaan Nusantara melalui Seni dan Bahasa”. Acara yang digelar di Dekanat FBS Unnes ini merupakan acara tahunan yang membahas berbagai isu seni dan kebudayaan nusantara, Selasa (18/12).

Seperti telah diberitakan sebelumnya,  seminar ini mendatangkan pembicara dari berbagai profesi dalam bidang seni dan budaya yang berasal dari empat negara.

Berbicara mengenai seni, tak terlepas dari gerak yang merupakan cara untuk memperjuangkan ketahanan hidup sebagai ungkapan-ungkapan seni yang mengembangkan tradisi dan nilai estetik bangsa. Hal itu disampaikan guru besar Fakultas Ilmu Pengetahuan Budaya Universitas Indonesia (UI), Prof Dr Edi Sedyawati mengawali seminar tersebut.

Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Dr Jean Couteau Pengamat Seni Bali asal Prancis menyatakan bahwa kebudayaan hendaknya dilihat sebagai ruang ekspresi yang sebebas-bebasnya. “Seni itu anti-formalitas dan anti-ideologi,” kata penulis multy-bahasa yang bermukim di Bali ini.

“Seni kerajinan tangan bukanlah penghias dinding atau galeri, karena ini erat kaitannya dengan corak kehidupan saat itu,” ujar Prof Madya Ismail Ibrahim PhD. Lebih detail, dalam paparannya  guru besar di UMS ini juga menggambarkan motif atau corak dan hubungannya dalam ruang lingkup kehidupan menurut borneo utara melalui visualisasi yang menarik.

Selain  itu, Prof Tjetjep Rohendi Rohidi menyebut bahwa melalui kesadaran budaya, prespektif politik, dan paradoks kebudayaan, Indonesia harus berusaha menggalang identitas bangsa. Guru besar Unnes tersebut juga memaparkan bahwa identitas kebudayaan sesungguhnya adalah symbol khas acuan nilai masyarakat.

Tinjauan berbeda disampaikan oleh Prof Takadono dari Jepang yang lebih menekankan pada hubungan budaya dan komunikasi. “Hubungan antarmanusia didasarkan atas hubungan dua pihak yaitu individu dan mitranya,” katanya. Pemaparan mengenai budaya yang menyakut pronominal persona memberikan gambaran mengenai tataran bahasa dan pola perilaku manusia.

Acara yang dibuka oleh tari kreasi mahasiswa Sendra Tasik Unnes yang diiringi live music oleh kroncong dari mahasiswa Seni Musik menyemarakkan seminar yang dihadiri ratusan peserta siang itu.

Konservasi Tiada Henti

Tak hanya memaparkan mengenai seni secara global, dalam kesempatan yang sama Unnes juga mengukuhkan konservasi budaya. Sebagai upaya menjaga warisan nusantara, konservasi terhadap budaya Jawa harus dilakukan. “Budaya Jawa merupakan bagian kecil dari ragam budaya nusantara,” kata Prof Fathur Rokhman, Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama dalam pemaparannya mewakili Rektor Unnes.

Dalam kesempatan apapun, nilai konservasi harus kita tumbuh dan kembangkan. “Konservasi tiada henti dalam perlindungan, pengembangan, dan manfaat,” tambahnya sebelum membuka acara seminar dengan pencabutan gunungan wayang.

    Kenapa harus budaya jawa….. banyak kebudayaan di indonesia yg belum tersentuh,,,, menurut sya akan lebih baik apabila kita mengangkat budaya di indonesia secara merata,,, misal= dengan menugaskan wajib karya S2 seni mengangkat budaya yg ada di seluruh indonesia d2ngan merata… dibagi tidak menurut wilayah nya… atau d3ngan perwwwakilan daerah.. kalo perlu kec ke kab,, kab ke prof baru di satukan di pusat,,,, itu menurut pendapat saya…
