Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) sangat prihatin atas masih maraknya korupsi di Indonesia. Korupsi seakan-akan tidak pernah berhenti di negeri ini, bahkan bentuk-bentuknya semakin beragam dan canggih. Bila pelakunya pada masa lalu hanyalah para orang tua di atas usia 40 tahun, saat ini banyak koruptor yang berusia muda, di bawah 40 tahun.

Hal tersebut disampaikan Ketua KPK Abraham Samad saat berbicara pada seminar nasional “Upaya Pemberantasan Korupsi di Indonesia” yang diselenggarakan oleh Dewan Pimpinan Pusat Ikatan Alumni Universitas Negeri Semarang (DPP IKA Unnes) di kampus Sekaran Gunungpati, Rabu (26/3). Selain Samad, seminar yang dibuka Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum itu menampilkan narasumber Kabareskrim Polri Komjen Polisi Drs Suhardi Alius MH dan Wakil Jaksa Agung Andi Nirwanto SH MM.

“Seharusnya masyarakat Indonesia makmur karena sumber daya alam dan ekonomi Indonesia sangat kuat. Namun sampai sekarang masih menjadi negara berkembang yang masyarakatnya belum sejahtera karena masih banyak korupsi di berbagai bidang, termasuk tiga bidang strategis, yaitu sumber daya energi, ketahanan pangan, dan ekonomi perpajakan. KPK menangani pula tiga bidang tersebut,” ujar Samad dalam seminar yang dimoderatori Prie GS itu.

Menurutnya, pada awalnya pemberantasan korupsi di Indonesia lebih menekankan pada pemberantasan korupsi. Namun di tengah upaya itu terus terjadi korupsi sehingga KPK saat ini mengintegrasikan pemberantasan (represif) dan pencegahan (preventif) secara bersamaan.

“Budaya antikorupsi harus dibudayakan pada kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat dari usia dini. KPK melihat dunia perguruan tinggi (PT) sangat strategis dalam menyuarakan pendidikan antikorupsi pada masyarakat,” katanya.

Seminar juga menyoroti makin lunturnya budaya orang Indonesia yang semakin tidak malu akan tindakan korupsi. Kalau pada era lalu pelaku kejahatan misal koruptor akan sangat malu saat digiring aparat keamanan atau saat sidang, sekarang para koruptor kelihatan tidak ada rasa malu dan bersalah atas segala tindakan mereka yang berdampak sangat buruh bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Para koruptor santai dan banyak senyum saat keluar dari KPK, menandakan salah satu bentuk makin lunturnya budaya malu berbuat korup.

Dalam pidato pembukaannya, Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum menyampaikan Unnes ingin menjadi salah satu perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang menjadi pelopor bidang gerakan antikorupsi di negeri ini. Sivitas akademika yang menonjolkan konservasi ini dikenal sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi taat asas dalam administrasi maupun bidang-bidang lain dalam proses belajar mengajar. “Sejauh ini Unnes telah menjalin kerja sama dengan KPK soal pemberantasan korupsi. Salah satu prinsip kerja kami adalah taat asas. Kami akan patuh regulasi-regulasi Kerja sama dengan KPK dijalin agar kami tetap menjaga prinsip tersebut,” kata Rektor.

    Semoga tindakan preventif korupsi dapat mulai dilaksanakan dengan seksama oleh seluruh anggota masyarakat Indonesia sehingga akan tertanam rasa malu bagi pihak-pihak yang akan dan telah melakukan korupsi.
    Kita juga berharap Pelaku tindakan korupsi diberikan ganjaran yang akan membuat mereka dan “calon” pelaku lainya takut dan jera, bukan tersenyum lebar karena walaupun dihukum 10 tahun tetapi dia toh akan bebas pada waktunya telah berhasil mendapatkan sejumlah uang yang tak akan habis dipakai beberapa keturunanya. Go Indonesia Bisa!
