Salah satu rangkaian program Erasmus Plus GITA (Growing Indonesia a Triangular Approach) Project adalah Pertemuan atau Partnership Meeting yang diselenggarakan di Cheltenham, United Kingdom, pada pertengahan April 2018. Pertemuan yang bertempat di The University of Gloucestershire (UoG) ini dihadiri oleh 7 universitas di Indonesia dan 4 partner dari Eropa yaitu The University of Gloucestershire (sebagai tuan rumah), Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Dublin, Ireland, Fachhochschule des Mittelstandes (FHM) Bielefeld, Jerman, dan University of Innsbruck (UIBK), Innsbruck, Austria.

Sebagai salah satu univesitas di Indonesia yang menerima hibah program GITA ini, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) mengirimkan tiga delegasinya yaitu Dr Wahyono MM, Dorojatun Prihandono SE MM PhD dan Sri Utami SS MA MPd. Pada kesempatan tersebut, delegasi UNNES berkesempatan memaparkan beberapa kegiatan awal program yang telah dilaksanakan di kampus terutama di Fakultas Ekonomi, serta beberapa hal terkait kegiatan di Semarang terkait entreperneurial activities atau kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan kewirausahaan masyarakat lokal.

Acara dibuka oleh Vice Chancellor atau Wakil Rektor The University of Gloucestershire, Steven Marston dan dilanjutkan oleh Professor David James sebagai Dekan Pengembangan Akademik. Diskusi interaktif antar universitas tersebut bertempat di Fullwood House, Park Campus, Cheltenhamm. Steven Marston mengawali diskusi dengan menjelaskan beberapa latar belakang kegiatan progam GITA. Salah satu diantaranya adalah kebutuhan fasilitasi bagi calon lulusan universitas agar menjadi lulusan yang siap kerja.

Setalah diskusi, dilanjutkan presentasi masing-masing partner terkait program implementasi HEInnovate self-assessment dan rencana draft action plan yang memungkinkan untuk dikembangkan di masing-masing institusi. HEInnovate self-assessment merupakan alat untuk mengukur tingkat kewirausahaan suatu institusi, utamanya pendidikan tinggi.

Setelah break makan siang, peserta menuju Growth Hub yang bertempat di Oxstalls, Gloucester. Growth Hub merupakan suatu tempat yang dibangun sebagai pusat pertemuan antara calon pebisnis dengan mentor atau tenaga ahli dan pemangku kepentingan yang terlibat dalam proses kegiatan bisnis. Tempat yang didanai penuh oleh pemerintah tersebut tampak mewah dengan dilengkapi fasilitas tempat pertemuan, ruang-ruang kelas, ruang rapat besar, ruang komputer, perpustakaan bisnis, dan lain-lain.

Dalam kunjungan tersebut, dipaparkan pula bagaimana mempromosikan program melalui daring atau media online. Kunjungan berlangsung sekitar 2,5 jam dan rombongan kembali ke Fullwood House dilanjutkan diskusi terkait HEInnovate oleh John Jameson dari Dublin Insittute of Technology (DIT) dan oleh Project Leader, Prof Neil Towers dari The University of Gloucestershire.

Hari pertama, acara terdiri dari mini exhibition masing-masing universitas, penjelasan terkait laporan pertanggungjawaban keuangan, dan presentasi terkait localities di daerah masing-masing universitas. Hari kedua turut hadir dosen dan mahasiswa dari Universitas Gloucestershire. Keseluruhan program diakhiri dengan rencana pertemuan lanjutan yang akan dilaksanakan di Yogyakarta pada bulan Juli 2018 mendatang.
