Badan Penjaminan Mutu (BPM) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menyelenggarakan pertemuan awal dalam rangka melakukan audit mutu internal pada Kamis (23/11) bertempat di Gedung H ruang 405 UNNES Kampus Sekaran.

Dalam pengarahannya, Ketua BPM Agung Yulianto SPd MSi mengatakan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas dan standar mutu yang ada di UNNES.

“Hal ini penting, terutama terkait dengan internasionalisasi UNNES nantinya. Kita akan melakukan lompatan yang lebih tinggi untuk standar mutu di UNNES. Kedepan, kita akan berkompetisi dan bersaing dengan perguruan tinggi baik dalam maupun luar negeri, meningkatkan pemeringkatan dan sertifikasi untuk tingkat asia”, jelas Agung.

Sementara itu, Rektor UNNES Prof Fathur Rokhman MHum mengemukakan untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas standar mutu, UNNES dan segala unsur didalamnya perlu berbenah diri seperti penguatan program studi, meningkatkan standar layanan dan mutu UNNES.

“Tak cukup untuk meningkatkan mutu secara kelembagaan. UNNES juga akan terus melakukan penguatan mutu secara kultural diantaranya dengan mengharuskan dosen untuk mengunggah rencana pembelajaran semester dan bahan ajar, memonitoring awal perkuliahan, melaksanakan tugas dengan baik, dan melaksanakan tridarma perguruan tinggi (pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat)”, ungkap Rektor.

Kemudian, tambahnya, publikasi ilmiah, pengembangan SDM, layanan prima yakni mahasiswa lulus tepat waktu dan berkarakter, serta kerjasama yang luas.
